Connecting the D.O.T.S. is a sensory-considerate speed dating event where autistic adults can connect authentically one on one in an atmosphere designed to reduce social pressure and overstimulation. Expect low-stress vibes, clear communication, structured conversations, and the chance to meet people interested in a neurodivergent connection.

Laura has over 12 years of professional experience teaching social skills to people of all ages and skill levels on the autism spectrum and will be present to help facilitate conversations and assist attendees in self-regulating as needed. Conversation games, sensory tools, a break space, and visual support handouts will also be available.

The event will consist of rounds where attendees will meet with each other one on one. Everyone will be provided with a match card to let us know who they are interested in getting to know more. We will connect mutual matches after the event.
