Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Applied Behavior Analysis

Laura Lamantia, BCBA

Hi! I’m Laura. I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who specializes in helping people build skills for everyday life.

I’ve spent over 12 years working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Along the way, I developed one very specific passion. Whether I am working with my clients or with other professionals, my goal is always the same — identify the right supports to make daily life feel more manageable.

I’ve also developed a deep passion for teaching social skills over the years. I’ve seen firsthand how having the right skills—and the confidence to use them—can transform a person’s life. For my teen and adult clients, social competence opens doors in friendships, romantic relationships, and the workplace, helping them navigate everyday interactions with more ease and independence. I approach social skills instruction in a practical, personalized way, focusing on meaningful, real-world situations so that each client can build confidence and connect more authentically with others.

Meet with me 1:1

  • My aim is to provide you with practical support to create meaningful change.

Together, we will work to set achievable goals that are aligned with your values and needs. You’ll learn how to notice unhelpful thoughts or habits that may be holding you back. Your treatment plan will include actionable steps and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy tools to help you achieve goals that are meaningful, realistic, and rooted in what truly matters to you. Along the way, your progress will be measured and celebrated.

The goal isn’t to change who you are—it’s to help you build skills and confidence in a way that fits you.

I know that one-on-one professional support isn’t accessible to everyone. That’s why I created the Chatterfly Social Skills App: to bring conversation practice and confidence-building tools to anyone who wants support, wherever they are.

  • In addition to developing tools and resources for clinicians, I’m available for consultation with BCBAs who want guidance on program design, curriculum development, building a business, and more.

I also work with professionals who are exploring ways to integrate technology into social skills instruction, including the use of AI-assisted prompts and modeling.

Consultation is typically informal and tailored to the specific questions or projects someone is working on.

If you’re a professional interested in collaborating, discussing resources, or exploring new approaches to social skills instruction, please reach out — I’d love to schedule a time to chat!
